Co-owners Brenda and Joan are Wiccan crones who live in the area of Phoenix, Arizona. Brenda is married and both have grandchildren.

Joan is an accountant, published writer, and co-owner of Rowan Press. She founded the Spiral Coven in June 2002. In 2007 she established Goddess Events Arizona to celebrate the Divine Feminine through events for women.
